Friday and Saturday we competed in the Prelims and Semi-Finals for the Freestyle kayak event at the Teva Mt. Games in Vail. Â Unfortunately nobody made it to Finals to compete in the somewhat terrifying flooded hole that was not only tricky to stick moves in, but also hard to avoid large logs and root balls. Â Due to this high water level, Day 4 river events, including the the 8-ball Boatercross were cancelled.

This hole at Vail Bridge got more difficult and flushier as the day progressed due to high temperatures and consequent river rising.
