I closed out my month of working and paddling in Norway with a lot of work, and even more paddling. Two highlights were the Bovra Gorge and the Lower Rauma. The whole trip completely blew my mind. The paddling was great, the work was plentiful, and the rafting was fun. I was fortunate enough to meet up with fellow Pyranha man Ric Moxon from the U.K. for most of the missions.
On one of my last days in Norway guided an early A.M. rafting trip (we were off the river by 10) and then headed straight for the Lower Rauma. We manged to rally a fairly large crew despite the angry skies. What a run !!! big slides clean drops, what more could you ask for?
I could not have imagined a better way to spend the month of August. Norway rules!!!
It’s good to be back in New York, just in time for a full fall of dam releases and good times. For now…
Back to work
