Taking some time off from school this year opened up my schedule for some epic kayaking trips. Starting off the year in Ecuador with a month-long kayak vacation set the bar for the months to come.

Upon returning to the States, Rain in the East provided some great personal firsts for me in the spring of this year.
Colorado in June was again an epic adventure with a schedule packed with competitions and good times.

California in July was a short and sweet visit to nail a few staple runs before heading home.

Summer races in Maryland on the Upper Youghiogheny and the Great Falls of the Potomac went very well.
Finished up the summer with a great show at OR.

Despite an injury , I managed to scrounge up some summer fun at the Ottawa and World cup events and should be healed up for the events still to come…

I can’t say enough about this years boats! The Burn and the 4-Twenty brought my paddling to a new level. I am Really looking forward to next years Ammo and Recoil !!! My plans for this winter are formulating, I may be taking off another semester … or two.Â
